Miss Saratoga Springs Scholarship Pageant

Pageant Crown

The Miss Saratoga Springs Scholarship Pageant is a program designed to help young women in Saratoga Springs serve their community and gain scholarship money for higher education.  The pageant is open to young ladies between the ages of 16 and 21 years (as of March 4th, 2023).


Pageant Program Information

  • The girls will sign up for a time to get their picture taken for the pageant on February 11 at Eagle Park. Time Slots will begin at 3 PM. Sign-ups will be available at the parent meeting.
  • There will be a mandatory talent preview on February 21 at 6 PM and a mandatory dress rehearsal on March 3, 6-9 PM.
  • We will be holding trainings on Saturday mornings through February at the Public Safety Building community room to teach the following:
    • Wardrobe
    • Writing a resume
    • How to have a successful interview
    • Walking on stage
    • Learning the Fitness Routine & Introduction Dance Number


  • Applications and pageant information for 2023 will be available online on December 1.  Please read through the application information carefully before filling out the application.
  • To participate you must attend a Mandatory Parent Meeting on January 26 at the Public Safety Building.  No applications will be accepted after January 26.

Little Miss & Jr. Miss Saratoga Springs

Little Miss Tiara

  • The Little Miss Saratoga Springs Essay Contest will be open to young girls who are 9 - 12 years of age (as of March 4, 2023) and are residents of Saratoga Springs. 
  • The Jr. Miss Saratoga Springs Essay Contest will be open to girls who are 13 - 15 years of age (as of March 4, 2023) and are residents of Saratoga Springs.

The winners will be chosen based on the content of the essay (including grammar and punctuation) and how they conduct themselves during the interview. They will be introduced at the Miss Saratoga Springs Scholarship pageant March 4 at 7:00pm at Vista Heights Middle School. Each winner will receive 2 free tickets to the pageant. They will get to attend city events throughout the year and work alongside our Miss Saratoga Springs Royalty and serve as representatives of our community, including riding on the Saratoga Springs float in parades.

Essay Submission & Interview Information  


Those who wish to participate in either Little Miss or Jr. Miss will need to fill out the applicable application and write an essay on "How I can help others feel welcome in our community." 

Applications and essays will be accepted online until from January 1 - February 7. Only the first 25 applications/essays will be accepted in each age category. There is no fee associated with this application.

  • Essay must be written solely by the contestant.  
  • Essays should be no longer than one page, single sided, on letter sized paper.  
  • Please use double spacing and a 12 pt Times New Roman Font.

Interviews & Brunch

The writers of the top five essays from each age category along with a parent will be invited to brunch at City Hall. After brunch each girl will meet individually with the judges for an interview.  Participants will be emailed by February 17 with essay results.  The winner will be chosen based on their essay and interview score. The winner from each age category will become our Little Miss Saratoga Springs and Jr. Miss Saratoga Springs.
