Michael McOmber
Council Member
Term: January 2022 - January 2026
I was born in Salt Lake City, UT, but was raised in Northern California. I came back to Utah when I attended Brigham Young University and have called this home ever since. I graduated from BYU with a degree in Political Science and stayed around till I met the love of my life, Breanna. We have been married 8 years and have two wonderful children, Kennidy and Sterling. Breanna and I started our lives together in Provo, Utah next to lake. We decided after 5 years in Provo that we wanted to build our dream home on the other side of the lake in Saratoga Springs.
I have my MBA with an emphasis in Marketing and work for a global IT Solutions provider out of my home office. This allows me the flexibility necessary to meet with citizens, City staff, and developers day or night. I am committed to be available as I serve our City. Since moving to Saratoga Springs I spend much of my free time working with the Boy Scouts of America in helping the young men of Saratoga Springs develop into productive and capable adults.
I am also the Precinct Vice-Chair for my neighborhood. This allows me the opportunity to play a direct role in state wide politics and ensure that Saratoga Springs interests are addressed beyond our City. As you can see I believe very strongly in civic involvement. As your council member I have one goal and that is to “Make Saratoga Springs the Envy of Utah." I love this city and plan on raising my family here and that is why I am so committed to make it great.
