What: UDOT is currently working on the Redwood Road Construction Project. The work will be complete by November 1, 2010.
Activities Include:
- Installation of Storm Drain Pipe – From Lakeview Terrace to 1200 feet north of Grandview a new drainage system will be installed to help eliminate ponding that occurs in that area.
- Road Widening – From 400 South to Grandview, Redwood Road will be widened from 2 lanes to 3 lanes, adding a center turn lane and widening the shoulders.
- Road Rehabilitation (Removing and Replacing Asphalt)- From Grandview to mile marker 23 (the materials pit) the road will be rehabilitated. There will be no widening on this portion of the project.
- Trail –Portions of the existing trail will be relocated through the widening section along the Saratoga Springs Home Development as part of this construction project.
