Councilmember Bernard (Bud) Poduska
Bud Poduska has earned a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy and a M.S. and B.S. in Psychology. He is currently retired after having taught at colleges and universities for over thirty-five years, with twenty-one years at Brigham Young University where he was the associate chair of the department of Marriage and Family - Human Development for eight years. Bud Poduska has authored numerous books on personality adjustment, managing stress, and personal finances. He has been a resident of Saratoga Springs since 2001, a member of the City of Saratoga Springs Urban Design Committee for four years and a former member of the city’s Board of Adjustment. He has been happily married to Barbara for thirty-five years. They managed to raise five children to adulthood and currently have twelve grandchildren.
