Shellie was raised in Utah and Northern California where she worked in her parents' restaurants and on their small farm. After returning from a mission in Paris, France, she graduated from BYU with a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science: Agricultural Business and Production and a minor in Business. She and her husband, Nate, and their three kids have lived in Saratoga Springs since 2001. They love the beautiful views and all the recreational opportunities that Saratoga Springs has to offer.
Shellie has served on the City Council since January of 2012. She has been involved in the city and the community since moving here including, volunteering for the Splash, sorting books when the library was starting up, volunteering in her kids' schools, being the President of the Berry Patch Sub-association HOA and the Harvest Hills Master HOA and attending years of City Council and Planning Commission meetings. She loves talking to neighbors and residents about their ideas for our city and helping them to get involved. Her varied experiences within the city give her the ability to understand the different viewpoints of and work with residents, developers, business owners and city staff. Together we will keep our city the ideal place to live, work, shop and play.
