Introducing the Virtual Splash GooseChase Game!
We are excited to announce that Saratoga Springs City will be hosting a citywide GooseChase digital scavenger hunt! A digital scavenger hunt is a scavenger hunt game organized and run on a platform such as GooseChase, which utilizes technology found on iOS/Android mobile devices that allows players to complete their mission lists. Photo, Video, Text, and GPS missions are created and assigned point values by organizers, and players are automatically awarded points after completing each submission on their device.
Our scavenger hunt will take place starting Monday, June 8th at 8:00 AM and end Friday, June 12th at 10:00 PM. Winners will be announced daily on the city Facebook and Instagram accounts as well as this web page at 8:00 PM with the grand prize winner being announced on Saturday, June 13th at 10:00 AM. Each team may only win one daily prize per game. All teams, whether they have or have not won a daily prize, will be eligible for the Grand Prize.
Rules for participation: You must live in Saratoga Springs, UT. One team per household. You must contact the city within 7 days of winning to claim your prize, email email@example.com. By participating in this game, you agree to allow the city to share your photos. By participating you acknowledge that other players will be able to see your photo/video submissions, please black out any personal information before submitting. Any profane or vulgar submissions may be grounds for dismissal from game. Winners will be determined by mission points. Bonus points will be applied to Grand Prize and used as tie breakers for Daily Prizes.

To play, follow these instructions:
1. Download the app Goose Chase onto your mobile device.
2. Create an account, or log in as a guest.
3. When prompted to search for a game, enter the code: 8ZW8J9 or search for "Saratoga Virtual Splash".
4. Enter the game password: SplashBash
5. Register as a team.
6. The scavenger hunt will go live at 8 AM on Monday, June 8th and will last for 5 days until Friday, June 12th at 10 PM.
GRAND PRIZE INFORMATION
The grand prize will be awarded by a raffle based on participation/mission points. The points you earn by doing missions, along with your bonus points, will determine how many entries your team gets in the raffle. You will receive one entry for every 10,000 points your team earns. 0-10,000 points = 1 entry, 10,001-20,000 points = 2 entries, 20,001-30,000 points = 3 entries, and so on.
